McCain and Palen supporters in Pennsylvania amuse themselves with threats, insults and other scumbaggery while waiting for their rally to start. Sad to see Americans behaving this way.

Some of the concepts that are taught in engineering school are so theoretical that most of the students just sleep through them or just write notes just to past the next test. A couple of the concepts that we studied included Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and the Stirling Engine Cycle. Back in 1979, these were just cool thinks to ponder but thirty years later, the seems to be no more real development. It seems that way on the surface, but apparently a quiet revolution is underway with MHD and has been over those 30 years. I stumbled across a "discredited" French scientist who has been involved in finding breakthroughs to the practical implementation of MHD to propulsion systems and power generation systems. Jean-Pierre Petit, through interviews given in English on the Sign of the Times website (http:\\www.sott.net) proves a compelling narrative of the advances achieved by the military industrial complex in using this technology to achieve incredible speeds and altitudes. Sadly, this is just another example of the vast resource wasted in the quest of power and domination of humankind. He provides a compelling narrative of a scientist of conscience who brings to light the possibilities.

Has Barkley been Sandbagging?

I have to admit, I never really liked Charles Barkley because I think that he's a bully and a loud mouth. Well, a broken clock is right twice a day. Barkley have a great interview on CNN with Campbell Brown about the upcoming election.
